This week I welcome a special person to the show. Arlene Harbison joins me to discuss the murder of her uncle, Leon Laureles. Leon was headed to work at Kroger grocery when he was abducted from the parking lot, driven to a remote area in Brownwood, TX and murdered. His case remains unsolved after 26 years. His body was found in a remote area of Brownwood near a private gun range. Someone knows what happened on May 10th, 1996.
Arlene is trying to raise money to hire a private detective to look more into Leon’s case, and to commission a memorial mural to be painted in his hometown, so he is never forgotten by the community. I will post a link to the gofundme page in our social sites. I know the good people of Brownwood and Leon’s family would like this case solved. Let’s help bring justice to Leon.
