The Case of Melissa Lucio.

This week we are discussing the case of Melissa Lucio. Melissa was charged with Capital Murder in the death of her 2-year old Mariah. Mariah was found unresponsive and was pronounced DOA at the hospital. Melissa admitted to slapping and biting Mariah, but says she never hit her in the head or punched the child. The medical examiner determined that Mariah had died from blunt force trauma to the head. Was it an accidental fall, or murder?

The wine for this week comes from our friends at Cassaro Winery in Ovilla, TX. We are sipping on a Sangiovese Rose. Perfect for summer, and paired perfectly with Chris’s past dish, lobster claws, and watermelon summer salad. Beyond delicious!
